Only beautiful things

Today I celebrated Martin Luther King Day. Nothing else.

On BlueSky we had the hashtag #OnlyBeautifulThings - seeking to overwhelm the ugliness of the Orange Felon’s inauguration, with his stone faced wife in her stiff brimmed hat and Musk like a child who had eaten too much sugary stuff and was bouncing around - ending up with not one but two salutes that looked suspiciously like “Heil Hitler!”

It was a terrifying, sinister circus. I boycotted the whole thing but did catch some snippets this evening.
